Prior to your house cleaner’s arrival, there are a few steps you can take to optimize the experience.
Because the Maid or Cleaner does not know where things are kept in your home, it is helpful to declutter so we can get started right away. This can be a good time to involve the family in quickly straightening up. If you would like us to include time for organizing or decluttering a room, please let us know so we can include that. Here are a few helpful steps:
We make every effort to arrive within one hour of the scheduled time. Appointments can take longer or shorter than expected.

When starting with recurring service, the first clean takes a bit longer and therefore costs a little more. On a First Clean, homes often have some buildup in the bathrooms and kitchen that requires extra elbow grease and attention. We want to take the time necessary to get things into great shape. Recurring service will help maintain the standards we set on the First Clean.
I can't remember how many years I have been relying upon you to clean our house. I know that even if my regular person is unavailable, you will always make sure that someone arrives on the correct day and time. All the ladies who have come have been pleasant and polite. I know that you take care of all our special requests and do everything the way we want it done. There have rarely been any problems with breakage, but on the occasion when an accident happened, you took care of it promptly and easily. You are always flexible when I need to change the day or time of our cleaning. I count on you to make sure that I am always ready to welcome guests into my home because I know it will be clean and there won't be dust bunnies under the beds. Thank you for doing the work I dislike and giving me time to concentrate on the work I enjoy doing as a math educator.
